Hi, I am not circumcised, for the next few days im just going to ignore the area apart from washing and just see how it goes. My foreskin doesn't cover the whole of my glans so a part of it is exposed. But if the situation doesn't improve I will re-visit the doctor. Thanks
I do have one question. Are you circumcised? I have a problem with dry skin on the glans as well. I use an over the counter cream call aquaphor. It is kind of like petroleum jelly. It helps hold in moisture so the skin can heal.
It also protects the skin so when you are masturbating it will provide some degree of lubrication. It is oil based though so if you are having sex with a condom you need to wash the aquaphor off as the oil can compromise the latex condom.
If you are not circumcised you need to keep the skin pulled down over the head of the penis so it does not rub on your underwear.
Keep me informed and let me know if this works. Good luck!
hi, thanks for the response, sorry that the photo is quite unclear but I don't have raised white spots as such but the skin is constantly looking dry and, looks like dry skin. It can turn and goe wrinkly and leathery really quickly, I have previously used some creams but to no avail,
. I think it has been caused by when I persistently scratched the area. Im now for a few days just going to try and leave the area completely alone except for washing obviously. I am planning on booking a doctors appointment in the coming days
Hi,
If they are raised white spots as they appear to be, they should be harmless Penile Papules, google and look at more pictures for you to compare. The leathery appearance when flacid is due to the contraction of the outer skin which should expand when erect. In any case, scratching is to be avoided as it can harm you.
