skin colored bumps

Hi, my husband and I are a little bit curious about these skin colored bumps around the base of the shaft of his penis. They are different sizes, all pretty small, and not all one particular shape. There are a bunch of them. He opened one up the other day when he tried to pop it and it just bled and nothing else came out. He says they don't itch and they don't hurt.
He's never noticed these bumps before and I don't recall them although we have only been married for about a year now.

We are curious to know if these bumps are anything to be worried about. Can you tell us what they are?
Thank you.

Try Molluscum Contagiosum. I worried for a long time about similar bumps and found out that's what I had. So anyone else worried about similar conditions. Look into it, you might be saving yourself from much anxiety. Also, the only way to treat it, according to my doctor, other than letting them just go away on their own, is by freezing them off, so be skeptical about ointments and the like.
