testosterone therapy how does it work?

hi everyone im a 35 year old male and have had some blood work done recently and the doctor says i have low testosterone. we gonna discuss the treatment options in a few weeks but i just had a question. iv done a little research and found out that the common method would be to get an injection of testosterone enanthate or cypoinate every 2 weeks which would be 200mg/ml every 2 weeks. not sure if the doctor is gonna go with that option but just curious when men get testosterone therapy is there any breaks during the treatment like for an example 12 weeks on and then 4 weeks off. or does the treatment just keep going every 2 weeks for the rest of your life. any comment would be appreciated.

the reason that you dont want a break is that you have low t and if you stop you will just be where you started low.i know that hcg and clomid are used like that when your a bodybuilder.i have not heard much about enods using hcg but if you go to allthingsmale.com thare is some good info and he seems to know alot abot this if you go thare let me know what you think.i think that hcg act's like LH  and thats why it's used with trt ive read that some guys get away with just useing hcg.you might want to take a look at the healthboards.com at the mens health board thare is some guys that know more about this than me.find out as much as you can and make sure that your dr dos the right things with you.

im going to an endocrinologist. well i dont know the method that he is going to choose for me i was just using the 200mg/ml dose injection as an example. how does the hcg work . i thought maybe doctors take a break when your on trt. thought that the testosterone suppresses testes and pitutary hormones so i thought that they might give you a month break to let your body produce naturally again and i thought they probably give you hcg shots and clomid while your on your break. if im wrong its not a big deal just some information i read on the internet. seeing that youve been through this u can probably help me a little with my questions.
