Blurred Vision

I have blurred vision and light sensitivity about 80% of the time.  Sometimes dizziness.  Occasional headaches.  But not often.  Sometimes I have pain in the head that lasts 5 minutes and then goes away.  It then might return somewhere else in the head for another short span.  Most of the pain I do have is around the eyes.  Closing my eyes for a period of time always gives relief.  I've had 4 MRIs (last one about 2 years ago) with nothing found other than what is normally seen in migrainers brains.  I'm curious if anyone else out there has had this type of experience?

Hi,
Thanks for the update. You can indeed have a second opinion to ease any anxiety. Primary headaches associated with stress is tension headache, which also presents with pressure around the head. Rest, ice pack, and avoidance of stress usually help. You can also consider complementary and alternative medicine such as biofeedback therapy and relaxation techniques to help with the pain. Take care and hope to hear from you soon.

Thank you for the response.  I did see an opthalmologist.  Not sure if they were a neuro-opthalmologist  though.  I am considering getting a second opinion.  Would this be considered a migraine attack even though it is chronic?  I am thinking it might be stress related.  When I am teaching it seems to be worse than when I am home in a less stressfull environment.  But I'm not sure if that is because it gets better at night time or because of the less stressfull environment.  Mornings are definitely when its worst.

Hi,
How are you? It is good that the MRIs were fine. Were you ale to see a neuro-opthalmologist for your eye symptoms? Both preventive and acute medications may help provide relief in migraine attacks. There are so many medicines for this condition and it may take a while to determine the best medicine suited for you. Identifying the possible triggers may also help avoid the attacks. Take care and hope to hear from you soon.
