Hi,
Please take tramadol only in the prescribed dosage. The total daily dose of tramadol should not exceed more than 300 mg per day, so please make sure of that.
Thanks to all who have commented. I think one of the conditions Dr. Noonur? mentioned may be my malady. And yes, I am making an appointment to see a neurlogist. My primary care dr. prescribed Tramadol for the pain in my head. I am taking it 6 times a day., at least on the weekends. Duringthe week , I take it twice a day. It does make me dizzy and sleepy. I have to be alert for work. Harriet K.
Hi,
It is difficult to give an opinion without actually looking at your reports. The chances are that you may have cervical spondilosis, disc herniation, disc prolapse or cervical stenosis.
The findings have to be correlated with your symptoms and results of clinical and neurological exam.

The best suggestion I can give is to request the result of ur study in report form and disk!! Call the location that did the study.....u will need to pick it up.Once u have it u will know what ur dr is saying.....we do tend to forget the terms used at appoint.
I do not know what ur dr is trying to say u have from ur description.....cervical spinal stinosis?......I can only speculate.U mention at the base of ur neck....and then u mention above the spinal cord...which is confusing to me.....the base of ur neck is at ur shoulders....above ur spinal cord would be the base of ur skull....
Post an update when u have all the info.
I hope u get a dx soon!
Godspeed
