my cousins have visual snow and he is just so young and he always sad . the doctor don't know whats wrong. he can't talk so good because he 4 . help please doctor.

How is your cousin? Is it possible to identify the possible triggers or does it happen all the time? Having this symptoms at such a young age can indeed be challenging. You could also ask for a referral to a pediatric neuro-opthalmologist for proper evaluation. Take care and do keep us posted.

Visual snow, like all other forms of visual hallucinations, is non-specific as regards etiology (cause of illness). Therefore, each subject with a leading complaint of visual snow needs a full diagnostic work-up including ophthalmologic, neurological and psychiatric examinations as well as CAT or MRI scans of the brain. I would make sure the get to a  neurologist. Who will generally be of more help then an eye doctor.
