hit my head, not sure if it's anything to worry about?

Last night I hit the back of my head on the headboard of a bed. I hit the back right side of it, maybe 3-5 inches away from my right ear. When I hit it, it SOUNDED like it was bad (my sister freaked out and asked if I was okay), but it actually barely hurt at all. A little bit later, I started getting a headache feeling in that spot. When I touch it, it doesn't really hurt. It only hurts by itself. These headache feelings in the concentrated spot will only last a few seconds, but they are frequent. It's not getting worse. And I don't have any other symptoms. No dizziness, no nausea. Is this serious? I'm getting scared.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hi,
How are you? Are there other symptoms present? The most common type of traumatic head injury is concussion, wherein the brain is shaken. Symptoms to watch out for and warrants immediate medical attention include confusion, drowsiness, lethargy, unequal size of pupils, severe headache and loss of consciousness.  Initially, cold compress and pain medications help. For a mild head injury, no specific treatment may be needed. However, a close watch for the first 24 hours is important. If it persists, it is best that you have this checked by your doctor for proper evalaution. Take care and do keep us posted.
