silent migraines?

So for the past year my doctor has been telling me that I have anxiety and has put me on all different med's.  Xanxe Lexapro, I went to the doctor yesterday and put it all out on the table.   All my supplements and med's and I said I'm still getting these anxiety attacks.  they wake me up and they are there in the morning sometimes they just come on out of know where.  Then she asked me again what I was feeling.

Symptoms
Nausea with vomiting almost always
tingling down my arms and legs.
lines in my right eye
stiffness in my neck
then the anxiety comes.  I start they why am I feeling this way, when is it going to stop
After this happens I dont feel 100 % for at least 24 to 48 hours.  They may happen only once a month and be over in a few hours or it can come on for about a week and linger.
My stomach is off  the hole time loss of appetite
diarrhea

Just wondering what any one thinks
I also have Hashimoto's Low Vit B 12 and Low Vit D
Getting shots for the B12 starting  today

I don't want to come across as overpowering or doubtful, by any means. I'm just at the point of desperation for answers and I don't feel as if I can get any help!
My dx of migraine variant or "silent" migraine comes after a long history.  In brief I suffered from an almost two year headache which was dx as NPDH by the headache guru in the cities. I've tried many many migraine meds with no avail.  In May of 2008 my headaches subsided, I now only get one occassionally and it usually subsides with Aleve.

Between May 08 and Spt 08 I felt normal!!!

Since Sept 08, I've had a rash of symptoms that have appeared, including tingling, twitching, muscle jerks, severe fatigue, pain and heaviness in my neck, arm and shoulder that usually will cramp up my hand, bladder and bowel issues, constant aura, dizziness and double vision, insomnia and horribly active sleep, leg heaviness,  and more.

I am currently taking another "new" migraine med to see if it will resolve any of the issues, which I'm happy to try. I just feel like my history of headaches has lead me to a life of lazy diagnoses and an inability for doctors to see past them.

I'd be happy to take any suggestions you may have.

Thanks for listening!
Heather

No, I am not saying they cannot be silent migraines. Just added other diagnosis. You seem to be improving. On net it is difficult to diagnose. We just provide the various possibilities. You have a diagnosis of silent migraines, I just added the other possible causes that can cause the same symptoms.
If you do not get the headaches any more in the same frequency, then in all probability you are fine. Migraines sometimes stay life long, maybe with much reduced frequency.
Hope things are clear now. Take care!

So are you saying that those symptoms are not necessarily silent migraine?  I have a little bit of anger towards headache diagnoses as I have a long history of them, but I don't even get headaches very often any more.

Hi
Welcome to the forum!
It does appear strange as the symptoms are there for a year but a history of stiff neck, nausea and vomiting, tingling in arms and legs are all signs of meningeal irritation. Maybe a spinal tap should be done. Since you also have diarrhea maybe a tubercular pathology or Crohn’s disease (can also cause neurological symptoms) should be looked at. Please discuss this with your neurologist.
Another possibility is cervical spodylosis. This is possible in presence of Vit B12 and D deficiency. Hope this helps. Please let me know if there is any thing else and do keep me posted. Take care!

No you vomit?  I'm going to another Doctor today.  Did they ever tell you it was anxiety first?

My neuro told me that I have silent Migraine also.  Not sure that I'm really buying it, though. I have all the symptoms you do minus the nausea plus many, many more.

From what I understand from my research after he told me that's what he suspects, your symptoms look about identical. I'm no doctor, but I would say be thankful your migraines are silent ==== Head pain is the worst!
