sinus' and headaches

Hi, I am 22 year old female who is 27 weeks pregnant, and abut 2-3 months ago I had a really bad cold and sore throat since then I have been having horrible problems with my sinuses etc.
My symptoms are sinus pressure,. sharp pain in my temples that last about 3 seconds, sharp pain in the back of my head and a swelling feeling in my left temple that comes and goes along with occasional sore throat and congestion.Also I occasionally will see spots but have been told that was caused by the pregnancy.
I went to my primary care doc and he gave me antibiotics that helped alot for about two weeks, then they stopped working. He also told me to get a nedi pot which helps drain all the ick from my sinuses pretty well.
I am just at my whits end with this. It's a scary feeling having all these pains in my head.
Everyone keeps telling me that after the pregnancy all this will subside, which I am hoping but scared that it wont.
Please someone give me some answers?? Is this a normal sinus infection or could it be something else??

Hi,
It is most probably a sinus headache since it started with a cold and sore throat.Please go for an X-ray paranasal sinuses and consult an ENT surgeon.He has to prescribe antibiotics depending on what you have already taken . You need a higher one now.Please continue steam inhalation . it does help, but complete relief will come with proper medication. Hope this helps you. Take care and regards !
