Hi,
How are you? How was your appointment with your doctor? Language difficulties, such as mixing words or trouble remembering a word is one of the symptoms of hemiplegic migraine. Neuropathies, weakness or paralysis on one side of the body, dizziness, nausea and vomiting. Genetic testing can identify if this is due to the typical genetic defects associated with hemiplegic migraine that runs in families. Complete evaluation is done to rule out stroke and other conditions. Take care and do keep us posted.
That happened to me today as well. It was like a completely normal migraine for me (flashing vision, blind spot increasing in size, fuzzy feeling, nausea) but then I couldn't remember words for things. Very scary. I have a provisional doctor's appointment for tomorrow morning.
