Headache, hand cramping, hand numbness, extreme nausa, left eye twitch

Im a 25 yr old female who has suffered migraines for most of my life. This past month i noticed my lower left eyelid twitching alot, and today i had a sudden rapid onset of a sharp pain behind my left eye. with in 20 min that pain turned into a migraine and i became sick to my stomach and very pale. Approx 20 min after the onset BOTH of my hands became tingly and numb and within seconds after that they began cramping up, my legs became very weak and i was shaky all over. i finally got everything to settle down enough so that i could rest. My question is. WHAT HAPPENED? Could there be something serious? What are the possibilities?

Hi,
How are you? Are there other symptoms present? One of the migraine variants, hemiplegic migraine, may present with numbness, pins-and-needles feeling, weakness, loss of balance and coordination, visual aura, language difficulties, confusion and even decreased consciousness. You may need to have this checked by your doctor for proper evaluation and to rule out differentials such as transient ischemic attack and even stroke. Take care and do keep us posted.
