migraines?

I have a friend who seems to be having seizures, but he won't go and see a doctor.  I was wondering if you could tell me what may be going on if I list the symptoms that he has.  First of all, his eyes seem to change, as in it looks like you are talking to someone else, not him.  His hands also shake a lot, he becomes unaware of his surroundings, forgets who people are, doesn't remember basic things like what someone is doing, seems to regress to being a kid, as in he has no inhibitions and will say what ever comes to mind.  After, he usually has a bad headache, he is confused, and doesn't really remember what happened, although he is aware that he had a 'migraine' as he likes to call these episodes

Diagnosis of migraine is through direct  neurological and clinical examination. The chances of migraine will depend on the information obtained in the said evaluation and other factors as well. Untreated seizures may lead to accelerated disease process,  frequent seizures which may cause further harm and danger to your friend. It is best that your friend seek medical consultation for proper diagnosis. Take care and best regards.

So what are the chances that it is actually a migraine? And what if its seizures and they go untreated? What might happen then?

How are you? Migraine usually presents with one-sided throbbing headaches with associated nausea, vomiting, and sensitivity to light and sound. Complications of migraine may include chronic migraine and even migraine-triggered seizure. Have him see his neurologist for proper evaluation. A complete neurological examiantion and further diagnostics such as EEG will help rule out seizure disorders. Take care and do keep us posted.
