Hi,
How are you? What tests were done? You can change your medications, as suggested by your doctor  if there is still no relief. Aside from migraine headache, this could also be attributed to cluster headache which frequently develops during sleep and may last for several hours every day for weeks then disappear for up to a year. Check with your doctor for proper management. Take care and best regards.

Hi,
You can also try to identify the possible triggers of your headache. It can be due to food, weather changes, hormonal or any activity. There is a migraine tracker here in Medhelp that you can use. Take care and hope to hear from you soon.

Hi,
so since then they were the same. I had a party and forgot to take my medication. the next morning i woke up with bad headache getting bad REALLY fast. I realized i had not taken. took pain medications, none worked AT ALL. all i could do was lay in bed that week taking my emergency meds, or others with ice and something dark covering me head to toe. after a week, and a couple days of me insisting to my mom to take me to the hospital i went to neuro doctor that i have and got magnesium iv, double dose of medication and some thing that was supposed to break it and i take every 6 hrs. since than it has been two full weeks, going on third and pretty much no change besides after iv. that brought it down halfway. at different times it is better than at other times but never gone. he has doubled my dose of the flouriset or something and no difference. today it is really bad. I wanna go in to see him again but he plays it off as no big deal. I am only 16 but am really getting worried that i cannot kick this migraine and that i had stroke symptoms one time fully and another part way when my migraine was at its peak intensity.
what should i do?

Hi,
Thank you for the update. I'm sorry to hear what you have been through for the past weeks. It would help if you have recent imaging studies done like CT scan or MRI to rule out any brain pathology. If your doctor seems to be treating this as no big deal. You can talk to him about this or you can check with another neurologist for another opinion. Aside from medications ,you can also try complementary and alternative medicine such as biofeedback therapy and other relaxation techniques. Take care and do keep us posted.
