I've had migraines ever since I was little. I Always get the auras then the pain kicks in. Shortly after the numbing beings, starting with my fingers working its way to my face. This time it happened it was only on one side of my face, affecting my speech. I couldnt feel anything it was completely numb. I looked in the mirror and realized one side of my mouth was slightly drooping which really freaked me out. My doctor told me the numbing sensation is normal with migraines but I feel they are progressingly getting worse.I was on 100 mg topamax for months but got off due to the weightloss. The cerefolin for b12 I take daily and take fierocet when i feel a migraine coming on. Other then that I just gotta deal with it. So my question to you...Is the numbing, they say is normal, supposed to get that intense or is something else going on I should be concerned about?
