Might a pilar cyst be causing headaches & lightheadedness?

About 6 weeks ago I started having occasional bouts of dizzy/lightheadedness. (Not vertigo) After the dizzy spell I'll have a headache for about an hour.  I also have a constant band of pressure and dull headache.

Around the exact time this all started, I got, what the doctor said is a pilar cyst on the left most crown of my head.

No one can figure out what is wrong with me and I'm going crazy and grasping at straws!! Since all of it happened at once, could the cyst be infected and the cause of these bizarre symptoms?
