Migraine or just a really bad head ache?

Hello, Im a 17 year old female and ever since Friday ( 2/3/12 ) Ive had this pain that will start on one side of my head and work its way around my whole head. Its now Monday and I still have this stubborn pain :( I have been taking aspirin and Ibuprofen  to try to get rid of the pain. Is this a Migraine or just a really bad head ache, any tips on help to me it go away?  Thanks!

If you have not any time that you fell-- if you have whiplash is definetly something you should look into. Another is does this have anything to do with your cycle? If so it could be an indication of endometriosis-- especially if you have cramps--CRAMPS ARE NOT NORMAL!! If you suspect this might be the case I recommend finding a good endo specialist-- a general ob/gyn does not know enough. To find one in your area you can contact the endometriosis association

If you have never had a migraine before I think it is odd for one to last so long. Also, where is the nausea and photophobia?  A trip to the doctor might be in order if it does not clear up quickly.

I brought one of my daughters to the doctor because of a headache that lasted three days. After much testing and confusion we found that it dated back to a whiplash suffered  some months earlier which was aggravated when, just before the onset of the headache, she fell down.
