Hi,
You are correct in saying that you contribute more than you think because the body sometimes try to give out signals when there is something wrong with it. One good thing though is that it also tries to adapt on its own until it is capable to do so. This is the miracle of it. However, we have been trying to advocate healthy lifestyle for every patient because majority of diseases right now such as hypertension, diabetes and cholesterolemia are usually acquired and can be prevented through this approach. If you are diabetic and currently taking insulin, exercise and a controlled blood glucose are essential. If it is not easy to have a regular exercise regimen because of work, walking is one good option. A low fat, low salt diet rich in vegetables and fruits is highly recommended. Try also to avoid smoking and drinking alcoholic beverages. I recommend that you have baseline laboratory examination and to continue this proactive attitude. A healthy lifestyle is a start in having a healthy life. It will not only prevent diseases including headaches but it will also ensure you of a productive and full life ahead. Continue your maintenance medications and check with your doctor regularly for monitoring. Take care and best regards.
In general they start out slow not feeling so well. Kinda of cruddy. The sysmtoms normally start in the morning when I awake with feeling cruddy and a little nausea are the first signs. I have had voimiting with them, but now that I have my most of stomach problems under control most of the time with pepcid and carafate, (diet is part of my problem, and I am on two insulins, obese), I usually have a bloated belly, gut ache, some nausea, cramping, and then diareaha. Its funny once I start getting the diareaha and it not like days of it, just few episodes in a 24 hour period, and controllable, I know that is nearing the end of the same cycle. It is almost like my body is trying to clean it self. I usually feel pretting good full of energy on a normal day. I do work full time at a stressful job, but so does half of America. I do lack exercising, but this last episode I believe has changed my attitude. Never for 5 days have I ever been down with head pain. I am willing to walk more now than I was. Something has got to help. I think I probablly contribute to them more that I want to admit. Starting to own up to my own problems, after this go around. I will take some good tips to heart
Hi,
How are you? Posture is said to be an important factor in the occurrence of headaches. You talk to your doctor about this and if still you feel not satisfied, you can always have another opinion. Can you elaborate on the character of your headache? Migraines are usually one-sided throbbing headaches that can also be associated with nausea, vomiting and sensitivity to lights and sound. Rest, ice packs, determination of the possible triggers may help provide relief. Take care and do keep us posted.
