Hi shomaila,
How long have you been experiencing migraine? What medications are you taking for migraine? Are you stressed lately? Stress can be one factor leading to tension headaches or migraine. Studies show that there is a link between headaches or migraines with sleep. Some discuss sleep primarily as a means to end a migraine attack, and think of sleep deprivation as a triggering factor. While others have emphasized excessive sleep itself as triggering factors.
Patients with chronic recurrent headaches sometimes experience a worsening of headaches at certain times of life. Once you are in a bad headache cycle such as you describe, any sensory input may aggravate headaches, especially certain types of lighting. Decreasing the frequency of headaches with daily preventive medications and other treatment modalities may improve both the headaches and the photosensitivity. Avoiding alcohol, caffeine and tobacco, good posture and exercise, muscle relaxation and sleeping in a comfortable position may help. However, if the pain persists it is best to see your doctor for proper evaluation and management.

Hi Zargul,
How are you? Can you tell me about the quality of the headache? Is it dull or throbbing? Is this periodic or constant headache? Tension-type headache is the most common headache and affects up to 75% of headache sufferers. Although it is more common in women, tension-type headache can affect anyone who sustains the same or incorrect body position for lengthy periods, or individuals prone to anxiety or stress. It feels like a tight band pressing around the head. Pain medications as well as proper body posture and less anxiety or stress can help prevent this.
I hope this helps. Take care and keep us posted.
