Hi,
How are you? Are there other symptoms present? Intermittent short, sharp shooting pain may be attributed to primary headaches such as ice pick headaches. These may occur with other primary headaches such as migraine or cluster headaches. If it persists, it is best that you have this checked by your doctor for proper management. Identifying the possible triggers and avoiding them, may also help. Take care and do keep us posted.
