Hi,
The pain from a headache does not start from inside the brain. (The brain itself can not feel pain.) Instead, headache pain begins in one or more of the following locations:
The tissues covering the brain
The structures at the base of the brain
Muscles and blood vessels around the scalp, face, and neck.
Primary Headache. A headache is considered primary when a disease or other medical condition does not cause it.
Tension and neurovascular types are the most common.
Secondary Headache. Secondary headaches are caused by other medical conditions, such as sinusitis, neck injuries or abnormalities, and stroke.

Wait for the test results to get in and then you could think of consulting a neurologist for a second opinion.
It is difficult to comment any further on the issue.
Wishing you a speedy recovery.
Topamax is a medication that is debated out there for seizures/migraines/etc. Some people like it, some people hate it. I've started taking it. I've noticed right away that I haven't had the really bad migraines that I was having three times a week. That's something to say. I'm still have headaches/mini migraines but they tend to be easy enough to banish with one or two Excedrin Migraine tablets. I'm still in the way early stages of taking this so I have no idea if I really like this medicine or not. Again, this is something you have to explore with a neurologist. Might not be the route for you. CAT scan/MRI would be good to get checked for blood clots, tumors, etc. and have them check your neuro reactions. Again, some people tolerate different medications.
It sounds to me like you are having sezures. I would see a neurologist. Most sezures are controlled by medication.
Thanks I am in the Navy so medical stuff becomes more and more complicated my corpsman thinks I am ******* with him. But I spend all day at work I sweat constantly and can be in a cold place and feel like I am standing in the hot sun. I am weak and its starting to effect my work. He put a referal to see a medical dr and see if he gets any better results. I have been tested before for epolepsy but the tests all came back fine and they have no cause for me to be having any kind of sezures but it looks like I am thanks for your info i will try all I can with work, if you have any other information you can give please send it to me
thanks Morrigaine
See a neuro. I've never had something quite that serious but I can very distantly relate. I had stroke symptoms with my migraines where I would lose speech, right arm would go numb, and the whole right side of my face would paralyze. They say it's caused by migraines. Yours sounds alot more severe than that obviously. Maybe it's time for an MRI or some new medicine. Of course I would discuss this with my boss. Migraines are a real disease. I absolutely hate going home with migraines but if it's a bad one, my boss kicks me out. Same as when I am at the fire department. If they know I am having a bad day, they "ground" me so I can't do anything. I would definitely get everything checked and don't be afraid to get a referral to a neurologist. Honestly, I have gone through so many general doctors that I have lost faith in medicine. They are general doctors. That's their job. Just like a neurogolist's job is to figure out your brain or even check your sleep pattern. Might even be something in that. Don't hesitate to ask for the referral though especially for the insurance reasons.
