I am scared....what was wrong with me. Yes I am overwieght - maybe this had something to do with it? My diet has been very poor recently and I have had a lack of fruit n veg.

I am undertaken excerise now, and eaten much better.

Hey, sorry but what eye condition goes with your migraines?

Again, don't panic.  If you are on this page you probably have a bazaar symptom or two.  As the wise folks that responded to this, Migraines can do that.  Also, there are nerve palsies that can cause your face issue - is it Bells Palsy????????  Regardless, at 16 get to the Neurologist for a complete workup.  With your age you shouldn't have a hard time getting a referral.  Also, don't go crazy with the excercise until you know.  And as Tyra says about weight, so what!  Once cleared by the docs, you can start out slow to get healthy.

hi,

Migraine can be confused with stroke as the symtoms are alike. I would suggest go see a neurologist and undergo complete neurological exam. Meanwhile OTC painkillers work well in migraine.

Every migraine I have had over the last 5 years has been accompanied by numbness in either my face/neck/arms/hands/chest areas (or a combination of both).  Sometimes to the point where I couldn't use my hand that went numb.  It was determined that they ARE migraines and NOT strokes, but some of the signs/symptoms are similar.  Typically I notice this for 30-45 minutes (or until the head pain begins).

You should definitely get this checked out by your doctor to be sure.

My first migraine was like this.  Dont panic.  Make an appointment with your doctor to let him know though.  Could be sign of a stroke.  I still have problems with my left arm.  I am also an athlete and eat very healthy so, dont beat yourself up  I do not have as many migraines when a cute out sugar and caffine from my diet.  Last week I had a coffee and a donut and a piece of cake that night it was my birthday) and the next day I got a migraine.  I usually only get one or two a year. What you didnt say was if the feeling on your face came back?
