I know about RRMS, RPMS, PPMS, etc. But, I read that there could be as many as ten distinctions rather than just four. What are they, if this is true.
Also, I was told that there are at least thirty MS diseases. Is there someplace I can go to read about all the types on line or could somebody give us a list here so that we can try to research them. I was told I probably had an atypical form, but no name and I would like to proactively educate myself for my big appointment.
Also, I have severe unrelenting daily migraines which I was told could be due to an occupational environmental exposure I received. I have been unable to get the exposure information. I have spinal lesions and daily migraines since the exposures. No preventatives have worked. Using triptans, narcotics, toradol, and antiemetics depending on the situation. Sometimes IV Toradol and narcotics for the migraines. Brain MRI read as normal due to age (and possibly migraines) even though I was told lesions there. Have posterior and central cervical spinal cord lesions. Rest of spinal cord untested. Eye exam relatively normal. Vision and cognitive problems and other problems initially considered due to migraine. Now, diagnosed with MS. Told headaches was definitely migraines (status?) and not related to MS. I have read that people do get migraines with MS. What about migraines? I was told it appears I have trigeminal or pons involvement due to my facial numbness. Any input would be appreciated. I now have intention tremors, polyvision, possibly palinopsia (now decreasing?),am falling, feel weak, and foggy--especially with migraines. Thank you!
