Please help Migraine and neck pain

Hello, I am wondering if anyone else has had symptoms like this, and what it could be! I have had migraines for years now, and I am currently really concered with the headache I am now having. The head pain is in the back of the head on those knots towards the bottom of the head. I have had memory problems, vision problems(blurred, and double), numbness in just my right hand, and both feet, tighting of my chest(which comes a goes), very dizzy, last night really scared me though. I woke up and my heart was raceing and would not slow down for an hour, and then just stopped, and all day today so far I have been very weak, very tired, and my head hurts in the back...My mother had 3 anneryisms of the brain, and about 6 years ago when they said my headaches were migraine, they checked for anneryisms and say nothing, what could this possibly be....I do have a thyroid inbalance, and have been told I'm hypoglycemic. I just want to feel better and have this headache go away, it has been a few weeks of dealing with this, and no relief really and I just keep getting more symptoms....Thanks for any help!!!!!

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hi,

You have a significant medical and family history. I suggest that you have a close follow up consultation with your physician. The hormone problems may contribute to your symptoms. When was the last time you had your thyroid hormone level checked?

Dizziness, palpitations, memory problems and headaches may be explained by hormonal imbalance. It is important to have a complete physical examination and medical history at this point.

I understand you are worried about your symptoms as secondary to an aneurysm.Let me assure you that your symptoms are nonspecific ,that is it could have been caused by anything.  Cardiac , hormonal and even psychological causes may present with your symptoms.

At this point, you may ask your neurologist if a repeat cranial CT scan may be indicated.Your last one was 3 years ago. Is this correct?

hi there!!  i have all of the same symptoms before. i know what you are going through. i was diagnosed with migrained years ago and use ti get 2-3 per week!! i would have to go to the hospital once a week for an iv. its horrible!! ive had MRI's and CT scans... and everything shows fine. they seem to have subsided A LOT!! im thinking this may be because my doctor put me on sinus medication... and it seems to be alleviating the pain a lot!!  i use to get pain on the left side of my head... my neck would be so excruciatingly painful... my face and left had would go numb, i would slur my words, my vision would be all messed up. i felt so alone, and the doctors didnt know what else to do with me. have you ever had a face xray done??  ask your doctor about it and see what he/she says... but mine showed that i have chronic sinusitis... and since being medicated for it... i have found relief after almost 10 years!! good luck to you!! keep me posted.
