Pain when head is touched

I'm a 25yr old female.  For the last few months I have had headaches pretty constantly.  I also had a pain when I touched a specific area on the back of my head.  That pain went away and for the last week I have a had a pain when I touch a spot about 1" above my right ear.  It's starting to scare me.  (I had eye surgery about 1 year ago and I see me eye surgeon on friday for a checkup.  I'm going to talk with him about it.)  I'm guessing I should go see my PCP and schedule an MRI??  This is not normal pain for me.  Does anyone have a similar experience?

Hi,
You need to get through your appointment with the eye surgeon first. Ask him if this could be a long term complication of the surgery that you have had or any other abnormality. Ask him if he thinks any other investigation like an MRI needs to be done. If your eye surgeon has the answers then take the medication he prescribes and schedule a follow up visit with him. If you are still not convinced consult a neurologist. Goodluck.

Hello.

Your Eye surgeon will be able to tell if this is related to the surgery. I would suggest you see the eye surgeon first. Then you may cosult a Neurologist.
