Hi,
Thank you for the update. Acephalgic migraines can be also managed with migraine medications, such as the preventive and abortive kind of medicines. There are plenty of medications available in the market and sometimes several tries are done to get the best medicine suited for you. Inform your doctor any side effect you experience also. Take care always.
I've been to my doctor and he says that i'm suffering from a type of migraine, i had an MRI and an eeg about a year ago so he made sure from the neurologist that it wasn't a tumour or anything else.
I'm now taking daily 0,5 tablets of clonazepam and have been told that if it doesnt help i can get the dosage increased.
I'll keep you updated!
Hi,
How are you? It is good that you have checked with your doctor recently. Sinus headaches usually present with pain over nasal area and often increase in severity throughout day. Migraine and cluster headaches are often misdiagnosed as sinus in origin. However, acephalgic migraine is indeed possible and you need to have this checked by your doctor for proper evaluation. Take care and do keep us posted withe your opthalmologist consult.
I've been to my doctor but he thought that it was due to my sinuses, I'm going to go back to him to make an appointment with an eye doctor.
I'm hoping it's migraines as I have read that there are certain types that fit my symptoms as it seems that every migraine suffer has a different experience.
It happens so infrequently that I'm just hoping it is nothing serious.
It doesn't sound like a migrane to me. I was been getting migranes for years. The symptoms for migranes are as follows:
Common symptoms of migraine include:
Throbbing or pulsating headache on one side of your head.
Moderate to severe headache intensity.
Headache that gets worse with routine physical activity.
Nausea, vomiting, or both.
Sensitivity to light and noise, and sometimes smells.

Hi. It could be the optical "aura" that presides a migraine but I would strongly recommend getting your eyes checked by a Ophthalmologist.. For peace of mind if nothing else.
Yes, it is true that migraine can produce these symptoms but so can a lot of more serious illness. Have you spoken to your dr about this?
There are ways that a dr can test for migraine.I think you need to find out for sure. Best wishes, Cath278.
Sorry, the end of the symptoms should read-
