migrain and vertigo

Hello On thursady i woke up with a migrain which i tryed to beat took some antinflamitory and started my day i ran around by 2 30 my migrain just got more intense so i took my zomig i continued to try to get things done. 45 minutes later i passed out and just could not get back up i was so lightheaded well took an ambuylance ride they did a ct scan blood work and heart doctor came in the heart doctor said i was cleared even though my blood pressure would drop   so i went home ok so now we are three days later the lightheadness has gotton some what better but is still there i am afraid to drive because when it hits me sometimes i just feel like i am going down has anyone ever exsperiance this could this be vertigo how long will this take to go away  anyhelp would be grreat

Hi,
How are you? It is good that the tests done were fine. Vertigo and dizziness can be caused by  ear / eye problems, blood pressure. and other underlying medical condition such as anemia and low b If the cause is not yet known, try to avoid driving and other activities that may harm you. Have this evaluated further by your doctor for proper management. A tilt-table test, as Dame pointed out may be helpful as well. Take care and do keep us posted.

I would definitely go see a doc. If you've got semi-random pre-syncope/vertigo going on, something is definitely off. I would randomly lose consciousness for the longest time until I had a tilt-table test done, and we found out that I have vaso-vagal syncope. Now that I'm properly medicated, I don't pass out anymore. If it's 'just' vertigo, and not pre-syncope, that's still big and needs to be addressed.
