Confusion, dizziness, slurred speech are known to occur in basilar artery migraine. The symptoms that you describe can very well be due to mental confusion.

I would suggest you to avoid alcohol, low blood sugar, stress, sleep deprivation, caffeine, and physical exertion as these are known triggers for basilar migraine.
