Hi,

It will help us to know what the nature of the headache is. Is it pounding, dull or throbbing in nature?
Pain in the back of head may be due to cervical spine (cervicogenic headache) issues like disc herniation or disc prolapse, or whiplash injury; it can be due to sinusitis, or an exertional headache.
I would suggest you to do some neck exercises daily, maintain a good posture, eat on time, drink plenty of water and get your BP checked.

Hope this helps!

I suggest you go see a doctor.  I have had a pain in my head for 2 years and went to a doctor once who said it was a tension headache.  However, the pain is still there so I will be going to a doctor again.  Good luck to you!

That's like my headaches.  It's usually kind of a dull pain in the lower part of my head, but I can hurt other areas.  Sometimes it spans a strip over the center part of my head, almost like having an invisible headband.
