Hi,

You may want to discuss with your physicians the use of preventive migraine therapy. Has anyone discussed with you basilar migraines and transformed migraines? These are just differentials. However, if you have been properly assessed and diagnosed with fibromyalgia most of your symptoms may fall under this diagnosis. Further therapy and diagnostic examinations may have to be reconsidered because of your pregnancy. Do keep a close communication with your physicians. Have your blood pressure and blood sugar levels monitored. As headaches and dizziness in pregnancy warrant close supervision.

Do keep us posted.

Hi,

It would be best to consult a neurologist and get a proper clinical evaluation done along with the relevant investigations including a CT scan of the brain.

You would need to rule out sinusitis, vision related problems or cervical spondylitis as the cause of your headaches.

If these are migraine attacks then no cause can be found out - you will have to continue taking the pian relief medications and follow up with your doctor regularly.

Plus you would need to avoid stress, loud noise, strong lights and other precipitating causes of the migraine attack.

Hope this helps.

Good luck.
