severe migraine

hi i have migraines really bad most days i get up and ive got one sometimes  they get worse during the day . the problem is my doctor only gives me 6 imagram at one time and he expects them to last a  month which is crazy when you get alot of bad attacks and you can only take 2 a time  if i get these bad attacks for a few days i wont have any imagram to take so im going to have to suffer. i have tryed so many tabs over the 28 years i have suffered and to be honest if they do work they only work for a short period till my immune system get used to them then i have to try something else ive lost count of how many i have tryed i tke a tablet called codrydomal for a mild attack im also on a preventer which dosent seem to be working now called gabapentine .i get so fed up with being in pain for long periods
of time which makes me stressed which i know from my experience that will make my migraines worse . im under a neurologist aswell i had a CT SCAN which came back as normal . i also watch what im eating keep a food diary im very careful when it comes to that. i forgot to mention my doctor also put my on some diazapan whic i try not to  take due they can be addictive. im pulling my hair out what to do to try and ease these severe migraines.

Hi,

How are you?
I would suggest you take magnesium supplements. They have shown good results in preventing migraine attacks.
The other option is biofeedback therapy. Please discuss these options with your physician.
Hope this helps!
