Hi,
There is no age limit for migraines. Migraines can occur in young children also.
Since you say you do suffer from anxiety and stress, there is a possibility that this could be the trigger for migraine in your case.
Please try and cut down on your anxiety levels, maintain hydration and eat healthy and regularly. Hopefully these lifestyle measures will help you.
Also since you have a positive history of stroke, please make sure to keep your BP, blood sugar levels and Cholesterol levels under control. Take care!
why at 33 am i suddenly getting these migraines when i dont normally suffer with headaches and now two in a month.
Thank you for your reply, i do understand it could be migraines but why at my age all of a sudden and 2 of them in one month.
Hi,
How are you?
Your symptoms are suggestive of migraine. Migraine headaches are often confused with stroke as the symptoms are quite similar.
Partial blindness, zig zag lines followed by a bad headache occur very commonly in migraine.
I would suggest you to lie in a quiet dark room and apply cold compresses to your head and neck. Avoid caffeine, bright lights and noisy places. You can take OTC pain killers to relieve pain.
Please consult a physician about it and undergo a complete clinical evaluation. Take care!
