Ocular migane CONTINUED

PS: Have had multiple MRI's, MRA's of brain, sinuses, and a MRV. CAT scans of head multiple itmes, Orbits, w and w/o contast.  All tests have been Negative.  The only thing that has been of is may platlet count has been low.  All Dr's have ruled everything out but I am no better than I was 5 weeks ago.  As i'm typing this I have extreme pressure, feels like someone is pulling my pupils out.    PLEASE HELP.  Can this really be an Ocular Migrane???  Prior to this I have not missed a day of work in 5 years, now I'm out of work for 5 weeks+ with no end in sight.  Can it be as simple as needing glasses of do I have to sit tight and let the medicine work.  I am having a hard time dealing/buying in to the diagnosis.  Any clues?  Thanks in advance.  G.

I had migraines since I was 7 years old, I was examined by so many doctors that in the end, all they can say is it's migraine. I learned to live with it by studying patterns whenever I start to have those semi egg-shaped zigzag lines. The following may sound ridiculous but it is true for me:

Espresso in the middle of the day will surely trigger it.

When it is cloudy and humid but with no rain. Believe me the migraine is gone as soon as it rains. There are weeks of this period in our region so I usually just close my eyes for two hours. Sometimes I get migraines every six hours. I read somewhere that it is mainly caused by change in atmospheric pressure. This usually happen whe n the season chages from rainy to hot or vice versa.

Too much exertion especially when I gasps for air.

Too much headlight glare of oncoming vehicles sometimes trigger it.

Orange juice, energy drink, Berocca tab.. (which iI like very much)

Lack of sleep also gives me migraine

I sometimes crave for milk after having migraines..

I tried several prescriptions but it has no effect on me. One thing though, one day before I get the migraine I am so productive in my work and very happy too.. I learned to recognize it as a warning for oncoming agony...

I learned to take advantage of it by getting my max output. I once finished a fiberglass kayak that I was building for at least a year in two days.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hi,
The increased pressure in the eyes could be due to hypertension, glaucoma or it could be ocular hypertension besides being ocular migraine. Eye pressure ( intraocular pressure )is controlled by a watery fluid called aqueous humour, which fills the front part of the eye. In a normal eye there is a balance between the production and drainage of this fluid, but in some eyes there is an imbalance. Most cases of glaucoma occur because the flow of fluid out of the eye becomes restricted and the pressure in the eye rises. Please go to an opthalmologist once again and get the pressure of your eyes checked specifically. This is not related to brain most probably but something to do with the eyes. Hope this helps you. Take care !
