Twitching with partial black out

I'm a average healthy 17 year old girl. I have ticks, so to say and they are very annoying. Ive been to the Doctor and I have no idea how long my test will take and I'm eager for answers. When I twitch really bad, like whole body twitches (usually only leg twiches or head/neck twitches) I black out somewhat and only for a second at most and I get a strange feeling, like falling or floating sometimes. I remember where I am what I'm doing and such and it only happens when I'm tired. I also have noticed a decrease in my memory and somewhat in my motor skills and attentiveness. My doctor did a neurological test on me, making me touch my nose and walk around and such and found nothing wrong. My EEG and CAT scan wont come for another month. Oh and I have had a previous wound to the head, some guy attacked me with a pipe and got me in the head knocking me out.

Dear Zombie,
It's good that you have already booked for the EEG and CAT scan. But , as you said, sad part is that , it will take  more than one month for the reports.
Though i am not suspecting any groos problem, but the attack with pipe is little scary.
In general Ticks/Twitch have unknown etiology, so we call them idiopathic.
Other main causes are -
1) Magnesium Deficiency (peanuts/soya/wheat/butter/milk can help).
2) High stress levels.
3) Less relaxation to the muscles.
So you see, for the idiopathic reason, we can't do much. But for the other reasons, we can really contribute.
I hope i was able to make you understand.
Feel free for more discussions.
Regards

my bf has a very similar disorder which is  a form of epilepsy.  he has been taking phenobarbutal his entire life to manage it but nothing has made it go completely away.  out of nowhere he will pause and his face will go blank for up to a minute,  he knows what you are saying to him, knows where he is and what he is doing, but cant talk or really perform any kind of task while he is having a "siezure"
