good morning, I have a problem that doctors do not agree on the solution. Three months ago I was operated on by microsurgery of lumbar disc herniation L4-L5 and right foramidal stenosis at the same level. in the first two months I recovered completely and had no pain. a month ago I spent an hour on foot, suddenly I noticed a severe weakness in both legs with sore quadriceps while a mild weakness in the arms, I can walk only very short distances and after the break but I recover increasing the distance I can walk less. physicians have found that heart is not, and they made me also evoked potential test that confirms that there is a problem in the cord. In the new resonances, the caller cervical disc herniation C6-C7 that I had years ago and did not give me any symptoms.
what I've noticed is that when I make an effort to walk over my options, the maximum principle is weak but when it exceeds a threshold, the symptoms disappear considerably but then again with the same intensity if I'm over depi 30 minutes, but doctors ruled out spinal canal stenosis because the MRI does not show any of that.
I would like to give me his opinion of which may be the cause, before making the decision to operate on the herniated cervical, or if you think it may be symptoms of this hernia.
thank you.
