I have recently been told that I may have a capillary telangiectasia in my left superior pons. I’m very concerned about it being low-grade glioma due to the differential diagnosis my radiologist gave. My neurologist, along with his 3 other collegues, seem to strongly think that it is the capillary telangiectasia. I’ve been having chronic daily headaches that are sometimes to painful I can’t live my daily life. My neurologist said that my headaches have nothing to do with the MRI finding, but I’m just terrified that they are wrong and it is a low-grade glioma. I’m just wondering if there’s a chance my doctor could be wrong? It’s a 12 x 12 x 10mm subtle enhancement with no mass affect or midline shift.
