How are you?
Numbness is not a part of ALS symptomatology. ALS is a progressive neurodegenerative disease of the motor neurons. Motor neurons control the functioning of voluntary muscles. The main symptoms are muscle weakness, fasciculation, difficulty in swallowing, difficulty in forming words, and dementia.
