Angioma Cavernoma of the Spinal Cord T3

Angioma Cavernoma of the Spinal Cord T3

I had a major bleed 6 months ago leaving me paralyzed from the waist down. The Nuerosurgeon removed the Cavernoma 4 days later.  I have no feeling in my right leg, but it is fairly strong and I now have full use of it.  My left leg I can feel but is fairly weak but also have a drop foot, having to wear a brace, but with Physio I beginning to build up the muscle and have now gone from Wheelchair (except for long walks etc) to Walker, to Crutches albeit slow walking. I am also experiencing muscle spasms. I am hopeful that I will make a full recovery.  My question is do you think I have a good chance that I will make a full recovery, do nerves regenerate?  One more question.  I am getting a lot of very uncomfortable burning pains on my right side from my buttock, underneath and down my leg, this is on the side that is numb.  Is this a sign that the nerves are beginning to come back?  I also am experiencing little pockets of sensations coming back into the leg, albeit only lightly like I am running a feather over the my skin.

I am also Incontinent, but this is improving so hopefully the nerves are coming back into this area also.

I look forward to your reply and thank you in advance.  PS: I am writing from England.

Regards
Carol
