Are these neuro symptoms?

ill try to make this short--- I'm 29 years old, 33 weeks pregnant.

ive had hypochondria, anxiety and panic for over 10 years, it's recently gotten worse over the last 2-3 months. here are my symtpoms::

tingling in my hands feet, toes, fingers, and other random spots here and there like a spot on my back or leg etc. ive been getting this for a bout a month now on and off.

twitching all over!!! everywhere---you name it, it's twitched. every day, pretty much all day...little twitches, big ones, etc. for about a month

achy bones/muscles-- my shins/calfs, neck, back, arms wrists are very sore ....2-3 times a week. for about a month

my wrists are very stiff, right hand worse with swollen tingly fingers that get sore alot, (probably carpal tunnel)

my heart pounds and races...and sometimes when laying down i "feel" my heartbeat in my head and ears.

today------- woke up with alot of phlegm in my throat, a sore chest and a cough, still can't really get the phlegm up. im also very tired today.

I'm just unclear on all of these symptoms! ive been to the neuro twice over this past month, and she did the basic neuro exams and said im perfect. she will not run anymore tests such as emg, mri because im prego, but even if i wasnt prego she wouldnt recommend it because she thinks its ALL anxiety/stress. i also saw my gp and ob over the last month and they say the same, and upp'd my does of zoloft.

i also had a clean mri done in may 2010 right before i got prego.

DOES THIS SOUND LIKE SOMETHING BAD.. LIKE MS/ALS/SOME BAD BRAIN CANCER OR TUMOR?? Im scared and i know that my pregnancy hormones aren't helping anything!  sorry this is so long, but can someone help me or at least tell me im not alone

thank you dr. i also agree with my neuro. but the twitching ((all over my body for about 3 weeks now)) its what worries me. my neuro however doesnt seemed concerned and said its benign, and that even if i weren't pregnant she probably wouldnt bother with emg/mri because she thinks im fine.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hi there. Let me begin by apprising you about symptoms of MS. The initial one is blurred or double vision, red-green color distortion or even blindness in one eye.  Most  patients experience muscle weakness in their extremities and difficulty with coordination and balance. These may be severe enough to impair walking or even standing and worst cases it can produce partial or complete paralysis. Most also show paresthesias, transitory abnormal sensory feelings such as numbness, prickling, or pins and needles sensations. Speech impediments, tremors and dizziness also hearing loss. Cognitive impairment like difficulty in concentration, attention, memory etc and depression.
Having said that I would like to go with your neurologist that this is anxiety and panic disorder with you getting hypochondriacal.
The best is to continue Zoloft and wait till your delivery to run the brain investigations. Take care of yourself and the kid.

Im wondering the exact same thing, i get all your symptoms plus more, i get severe burning pathces on skin and horrible burning smell when nothings burning!! I get twitches all over day in day out, i get severe vertigo attacks, i get weak/dead right arm that seems to last ages, i keep worrying about mini strokes... i used to take drugs and i worry ive done damage... i am seeing a neuro on ferbaury 1st. the wait is killin me :-(

I have been suffering with severe panic attacks for almost a year now, i had a strange attack after taking some cocaine one night, and hospital said it was a panic attack, but i still struggle to believe them. They say i have anxiety but i feel i dont, im only anxious about the physical symptoms i keep getting!! i wanna know where these physical symptoms have come from!! its driving me crazy!! one things for sure, u DONT have ALS... u woul definitely know about it if u did... its a serious disease that progresses very quickly.. if ur neuro says ur fine then i believe u are fine and this is just anxiety and panic attacks xx definitely seek some therapy and maybe up your dose of medication if not already. Good luck, ur not alone. x
