Ativan

Hey I'd just like to learn more about Ativan. I have panic disorder and I usually have a panic attack everyday so the doctor said I should take Ativan. I really don't want to take medications but the one time I took it, it helped. I was prescribed 1mg ones and I took only about half of it and it did work. I don't want to become dependant on it so I don't take it often. I took it about 1 1/2 weeks ago. Is it okay if I only take it occasionaly? Also can someone tell me information on it. Thanks alot!

Be very careful with these meds as they can be problematic....
