Bad pain in lower left back and upper left leg.

Hi my name is Misty and I just had a baby 4 weeks ago who was delivered by scheduled C-Section and 6 days later I had to have surgery on a 12mm kidney stone as well as a stent put in my kidney. The stent was removed a week later. I had a spinal block for both of these surgeries. Ever since the spinal block was done for my C-Section I have been having very bad pain that originates in my lower left back and goes down to the top part of my left leg, right under my buttocks. This pain is a very sharp pain. I'm not able to sit, stand, bend over, walk, or even lay down comfortably anymore. This pain has been going on for 4 weeks now. My question is could the spinal block have caused this pain and will it go away on it's own or should I see a doctor?

Hi,

I am a breast cancer patient with the removal of lymph nodes. I have been experiencing a buzzing feeling in the upper left thigh, (same side as lymph nodes removed) and then my hip will feel like it is going out from under me and this causes severe pain and a feeling of warm wettness flowing down my thigh to my knee. What do you think?

Your symptoms appear to be due to spinal anesthesia which was given to you on two occasions.
I would suggest you to consult your doctor about it. In the meantime just take it easy, rest as much as you can, do not lift heavy weights and do some back exercises if possible. Physical therapy will also help you. Take care!
