Biceps muscle loss

In my mid 40s I started to loose strength in my both hands that used biceps muscle. Also the muscle mass disappeared and my arm aroung biceps muscle is as thin as a cucumber. At age 55 could not even hold a dining plate in my hand for buffet dinner, or walk with a cup of coffee . Consulted 3 different neorologists. EMG was peformed. Doctor said it could be a genetic disease they call it as muscle girdle distrophy, I need any medical help to inprove the strength in my biceps muscle,

How are you? . Exercise and physical therapy are highly recommended to maintain as much muscle strength and joint flexibility as possible. For this, have this evaluated by your doctor or be referred to a therapist for the right exercise suited for you. Calipers may be used to maintain mobility and quality of life. It is also advised that careful attention to your lung and heart health is important.
