Blurry vision & other symptoms.....

Hi!

First off I hope I am in the right forum!! =) I am a 39 y/o female who has been experiencing some episodes of blurry vision over the last several days. The episodes are very sudden and last only a short time and are not accompanied by any pains, or headaches or anything unusual like that.....I am also experiencing fatigue, muscle pain & joint pain. I basically hurt all over!!!

I just went to my PCP on Thursday (8/29/13) and got diagnosed with bursitis in my right hip and got a steroid shot (which has not helped). I think that maybe since I am a right side sleeper and I have bursitis in my right hip that is why I am so fatigued lately. I know I am not resting well at night and haven't been for months since this bursitis started acting up!!

Anyway....I was wondering if the blurry vision could be connected to the other symptoms I am having? My PCP is out until Tuesday (9/3) so if my hip is not feeling any better I am calling for another appt and was wondering if I should mention the blurry vision to her? And any ideas as to what might be going on with me?

Thanks in advance for your time!!
Lisa

I should mention that I am Bipolar and I take several meds to help control it.....they include: Abilify, Zoloft, Klonopin & Topamax.....I noticed something new.....my right heel tingles & then goes numb......it only lasts for about 4 or 5 minutes then it's gone like it never even happened.  I do experience tingling toes from the Topamax but I have never had my heel tingle then go numb! I have been on Topamax for over 1 1/2 years now.....so could the my heel problem be from the Topamax like my toes or is it something related to the blurry vision & the muscle aches & joint aches I am experiencing?

Any help or insight anyone has is greatly appreciated!!

Thanks you so much for your reply!!

My PCP just did a X Ray of my right hip to get the DX of bursitis....she really didn't say much except that there was no signs of arthritis going on in my joint at that point which led her to believe it was bursitis. So she gave me a steroid shot on Thursday and this is Saturday and it has not helped one bit!!! =(

I am going to google EDS and read up about it.....

Thanks so much again!!!

Hi, I am not  medical professional, but I wonder what tests were done to get ur DX and if they ruled out ehlers-danlos syndrome as it could cause issues with the joints (hip) and blurry vision.....

I am sure there could be other things that could be causing them....but EDS is something I am familiar with and just wondered.

Good Luck
