Bobble-head in adults?

My paternal grandmother had a constant "bobble-head" movement.  As much as I know she was not dianosed with anything.  I am 45 and recently have noticed periododic involuntary movements of my head from side to side.  Is this something I should be worried about?

Hello.

You should be looking at detecting any neurological deficits. Please consult a neurologist and get yourself thoroughly examined. The head movements, if unaccompanied by any other symptoms, may be insignificant. You should try to rule out Parkinson's disease. Your paternal grandmother probably had essential tremors. Just watch your hands for any tremors. Essential tremors are known to be familial.
