Body numbness

March 2010 my entire left side of my body went numb with the ability to still move around. I then developed L'hermittes in April which lead to the discovery of the lesion on my C5. I was DX with MS in May.
My questions is: At this time.. my numbness has never really gone away and I feel as though it's creeping each month across my body. Now my entire torso feels the same way and my pelvic area. My right leg, arm, face have not been effected as much. Is it possible that my DX of RRMS is wrong and I am actual progressively getting worse even though my symptoms are just mainly sensory and doesn't cause much pain but does cause it to feel as though I am touching my skin through a glove? I hear that sensory damage is the milder form of MS. Should I request a follow up MRI or is this just a baseline as I am coming up on a year since I first went numb.
Thanks

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hi there. The symptoms of multiple sclerosis are loss of balance, muscle spasms, numbness in any area, problems with walking and coordination, tremors in one or more arms and legs. Bowel and bladder symptoms include frequency of micturition, urine leakage, eye symptoms like double vision uncontrollable rapid eye movements, facial pain, painful muscle spasms, tingling, burning in arms or legs, depression, dizziness, hearing loss, fatigue etc. The treatment is essentially limited to symptomatic therapy so the course of action would not change much whether MS has been diagnosed or not. You can request for a follow up MRI to check if the lesions have increased and disease progressed. Take care.

Does RRMS sound right as I am just going numb throughout most of my body now or would this be labeled as the 2nd stage of MS? I had a follow up MRI on my spine in Aug just 4 months after DX and the lesion was slightly flared but the neuro wasn't sure if it was from the original attack or if it was flaring up again.
