Served in Vietnam 1967-68 mostly Danang area. USAF microwave communications assigned either to Army or Marines as needed. Would also like to know how many have CIDP. Have you seen the "Hatfield Report" describes residual AO found since 2006 which the usa is applying millions of $ to clean up now.
M husband was diagnosed with CIDP in 1996 after sufferin with unknown Neuropathies for10 years. He served in the Delta during 1966-67,being exposed daily to Agent Orange. IGG helped his quality of life from 1996-2010, when he no longer got any "jump start" from the IGG. It was discovered that all of the Myelin had been restored to his nerves. 6 months later he was diagnosed with MDS. After a valient fight, 9 mos of chemo, over 100 pints of bood and 35 bags of platelets, his MDS progressed to AML and he passed away in Janary, 2012. Three times he filed with the VA. I am waiting to hear from them, after filing myself followig his death.
I was exposed to high levels of Agent Purple while in the Air Force and also have CIDP. I would be glad to compile a list of those who have been diagnosed with CIDP who were exposed to any of the Agent Orange herbicides. AKA Rainbow Herbicides. email: ***@****
I also served in Vietnam 66-67 and have CIDP FROM AGENT ORANGE. I find it so sad after reading all about it and now find the VA does not recognise this and no telling how many more have cidp and i had it since 2003 and no one knew what it was till 2months ago and i thought the va would help me (very sad).
