CIDP Pain

I have had CIDP for four years, and have been seen by the Mayo Clinic in Florida and by Northwestern Memorial Hospital. None of the doctors can give me anything for the pain that I have in my legs and feet. Is there anything that I can do to help with the pain.

Have you tried asking for Neurontin or Lyrica?  These are anticonvulsants frequently prescribed for nerve pain.  Otherwise perhaps a visit to a doctor specializing in Pain Management will be helpful..   I too have doctors that won't prescribe pain killers but will prescribe the above mentioned meds.  Good Luck.

I am on Lyrica now and it causes my legs to swell, and Neurontin didn't work at all.
But thanks for the reply.
