Can low levels of vitamin D and B12 cause dizziness and confusion?

In the last year I have suffered three strong episodes of dizziness, loss of transient memory, confusion, weakness, blurred vision and feeling that everything was spinning. The episodes only last 5 minutes but the consequences last several days. Several hours later I usually feel still dazed, with small problems to remember usual things and with enough weakness in the legs and lower back, and for several days my body is sore, especially my legs.

I visited the neurologist and he sent me a MRI of the brain and a blood test. The MRI was perfect instead in the Blood tests appeared a somewhat elevated cholesterol and especially very low levels of Vitamin D (6.10 ng / ml) and B12 (187 pg / ml)
The Neurologist has prescribed vitamin supplements of vitamin D and B for 2 months. My question is: Can these vitamin deficiencies cause me such episodes of so much dizziness and memory loss? I find it quite implausible, but I do not know.
I have been taking Clomipramine 75mg and Clonazepam 0.5 mg for years for depression problems. In the last two episodes, they agreed that i had slept a few hours the night before. Will the medication I take have anything to do with it?

Thank you very much.
