Can't beat this lightheadedness.

Hello,
Nearly 6 months ago, I had an anxiety attack (first time) that sent me to the hospital. Since I've been getting the classis signs of anxiety hard to breath, tightening of the chest, muscle tightening of the face, derealisation etc. Now all of the major symptoms are gone except for the last couple of weeks, all I feel is like I am constently in a dream state (kind of like an outerbody experience) and very sensitive to light, as well as when I talk I feel that I am talking to loud and stop due to my sensitivity. Do these symptoms strike anyone as anxiety related problems or is there something that can be wrong with me nuerologically?
Thank you in Advance,

Hi,

Hope you are feeling better. Your symptoms do seem to be due to excessive anxiety.
However these could also be symptoms of migraine aura. Migraine can occur with or without headaches. I would suggest you to learn some self relaxation techniques like breathing exercises, yoga and meditation.
At the moment they do not seem anything more than anxiety or migraine. However it is important to undergo a neurological evaluation. Do get it done and keep us posted.

Hello,
I have similar syptoms..about 6 months ago i suffered from a barrage of migraines...one every day for a week..then after that i have not had any migraines but i have that that spacey feeling..it feels like everything is a dream..i had it for a few months initially..then it went away for a few weeks and it has come back again. It is frustrating because it is hard to explain what's wrong with me but it's a feeling that is constantly there and if interefering with me being myself...Just the past week i have a had pins and needles in the lower part of my head and they wont go away...
Does anyone have any idea what this could be :(
Thanks
