Car Exhaust Fumes caused me permanent Drunk Feeling

I'm 22 years old, 185lbs. About 3 months ago I was working on my car (out in the open) and inhaled a significant amount of exhaust fumes. Immediately after inhaling, I felt a nasty paint in the back of my head and rushed my self away from the area to somewhere with more fresh air. The pain went away and felt normal and went on with my day. I slowly started feeling dizzy/drunk and more dizzy/drunk and within an hour or so I felt that I couldn't breathe and felt a sharp numbing sensation in the back of my head. My face started twitching and started to panic. I called poison control and they told me that everything is going to be fine and that if I still had the symptoms to call back. I called back a couple of hours later and an actual Dr. answered on the other end of the line and explained to me that I will be fine, the effects should go away. That night I felt my head felt like JELL-O and felt the most weirdest sensation in that same part of the head. The next day, I felt extremely dizzy/drunk and had a fever. I took some ibuprofen for the fever and spent most of the day sleeping. Later that night I started feeling extreme pressure at the top of my head. This pressure continued for 4 days and eventually subsided. The drunk/dizzy feeling still continued, so I finally decided to go to the hospital and they ran 2 blood test (gas). Everything came back normal and told me that I'm going to be fine. Well a couple of weeks pass and I still feel the same symptoms. I have a CT scan done, normal. MRI scan done, normal. Full blood panel, liver panel, normal. I went to see a Neurologist and he told me that I'm going to be fine, and that If symptoms persist, to call him back in a month. Today is that month and I'm just about ready to give up. The doctors I've seen think I'm crazy, they say it's "Anxiety" from the "event" and have suggested anti-anxiety pills. They say that exhaust fumes can't caused that I'm feeling and that I would have needed to inhale and excessive amount. While this may be true, I can honestly pinpoint the start of my symptoms to this event. I explain this over and over and this information fly's over the DR. head!.

SYMPTOMS: The symptoms I continually feel 24/7 non-stop is this feeling of being drunk, brain fog, eyes feel unfocused/dazed, spaced out. More noticeable in busy visual environments (such as a car show or theme park). I also feel fatigued and stiffed necked. My lymph nodes have been extremely active lately. They swell up, become painful and then go away after a few days (the most recent were the ones underneath my chin and behind the head/neck area). sometimes I feel that I can't breathe and lasts a few hours, then goes away.

If anyone can help with a diagnosis, it will tremendously help me. Thank you.
