Cavernous Tumor or Lesion

by DanielC248, Jul 28, 2008 01:13PM
So, I was diagnosed with a cavernous lesion in my thalamus, and the doctor recommended radiation therapy since it was unlikely they could operate on my thalamus.  Have others experienced such advice?

This discussion is related to cavernous hemangioam vs brain tumor.

did you get the radiation?  I was just dx with cavernous malformation in right thalamus.  told it is inoperable.(by the nurse) finally seeing the dr tomorrow after a 2 week wait for apt.

curious what other, with the seemingly rare location for CCM ,are doing about it.
